Merry Christmas!

Highlights of the trip to Pennsylvania so far include: good conversation with my mom on the way home from the airport, playing most of the way through Final Fantasy IX for the millionth time on my PSP, playing Wii with my brothers, lunch with a good friend, Sheetz!!!, delicious food on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, good gifts from Santa (most notably a microwave for my

apartment, a big suitcase for my new-found need to travel across the country twice a year, and some DVDs I wanted), phone conversations with the boy every night, deleting 300 Facebook friends (sorry if you were a casualty), getting my hair cut and colored, a productive conversation with my sister, and spending too much money on presents.

Less than 3 full days remain here and then I’m back in Texas. It’s going to be in the 70’s on my first day back! I love my PA pals, but I love the Texan “winter.” And it will definitely be nice to sleep in my own comfy bed in my own comfy apartment. I don’t have a room at my mom’s house anymore (haven’t had one in almost 5 years) so there’s no sense of privacy or belonging, and I have to sleep in someone else’s bed or on the couch, and this bed is KILLING my back. I love my family, but I’ll be glad to be back on my own where I belong… with a comfy mattress.
