The one time tech didn’t save me

I have notes from every math talk I’ve attended since 2011. EXCEPT notes from the Chicago AMS meeting last fall, which are the notes I actually need for (one of) the project(s) I want to work on this summer. Why? Because I took those notes on my computer and forgot to save the file instead of taking notes on paper like at every other math talk I’d ever been to. Lesson learned.

Anyway, I e-mailed the speaker in the hopes that she (1) still has her slides and (2) doesn’t mind sharing them with me. Here’s hoping…
